Men and Women in BLK [DNM]

Johan Lindeberg is a man on a mission. Since launching his contemporary label, BLK DNM,wholesale Juicy Couture tracksuits, in February, he has opened a pop-up store on Lafayette Street (which, he revealed to Style.com, is now a permanent retail address), and published the biannual BLK DNM Gazette, featuring the brand’s collaborative efforts with his posse of downtown artist and filmmaker friends. The Swedish designer also has a forthcoming unisex fragrance . Today, he unveils one more addition to the BLK DNM family—sunglasses. The look of the limited-edition, unisex styles is very Lindeberg. Created in collaboration with the nearly 100-year-old eyewear brand, Moscot, the shades are sleek and jet black—just like the frames he regularly sports. “I didn’t want them to look too preppy,” Lindeberg told Style.com of the three different options. Each style rings up at $295.

The collection will be available starting tomorrow at the BLK DNM store, located at 237 Lafayette Street, NYC, and online at moscot.com and BLKDNM.com.

Nicole Richie has yet Twitpic’d hers and Mary-Kate Olsen was blotted dressing hers ashore the way to JFK. The latest iteration of the studded leather jacket, that is—this one from Katie Nehra’s Simone tag. The L.A.-based designer namely picking up left-coast fans, as they say, left and right. But the latest admirer of the Fall ‘10 manner ($1,080), a cropped moto jacket with exaggerated lapels, namely none additional than Patti Smith. After hearing that the singer-turned-Just Kids memoirist was desiring afterward the jacket (spotting it on one of Nehra’s friends in Manhattan), the designer made sure to rush a jacket because Smith into making. “You tin custom-order the jacket anyone direction you want,” Nehra said, pointing to the exaggerated studs and final name emblazoned on the behind of hers. “But for Patti, I’m going to quit always those determinations up to her.”
